In April, we will have a visit from “Cheval des vignes” on our land.
It was after a meeting with our farm manager Lucas Védère last February, where we knew immediately that we were going to do some work together, that we decided to welcome “Cheval des vignes” to our land.
We share their passion for horses and are convinced of the benefits of this viticultural technique. Animal traction is an ancestral technique, it embodies the respect of the soil and the environment by minimising the carbon footprint. The intervention of the horse in our vineyards, on carefully selected plots, will considerably reduce soil compaction. This tradition will also promote biodiversity, for healthier and more vigorous vines.
